Hey, I’m Aaron.

I am a computational biologist at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where I am Director of Bioinformatics for the Transplant Research Institute. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Genetics at Virginia Commonwealth University. I co-founded VCU’s Data Science Lab with Tim York, which provides opportunities for faculty and students to learn about modern computational workflows that facilitate rigorous and reproducible research.

BTW, I’m not the Aaron Wolen who races motorcycles. However, I’m pretty good at Excite Bike.
